''Looking Yourself As A Spiritual Soul''

Bring spiritual person is synonymous with being a person whose highest priority is to be loving to yourself and others. A spiritual person cares about people, animals, and the planet. A spiritual person knows that we are all one and consciously attempt to honor this Oneness. A spiritual person is a kind person.

There are many people who do not practice a religion. who does not meditate, pray or belong to any group, who are very spiritual people? These People naturally do care things for others. They think about how they can be helpful. Their thoughts are kind rather than judgemental towards themselves and towards others. When you look at them, you see kindness in their eyes.

What is Meant By Spirituality?

Spirituality is something that’s talked about a lot but is often misunderstood. Many people think that spirituality and religion are the same, and so they bring their beliefs and prejudices about the religion to discussions about spirituality. Though all religions emphasize spirituality as being part of faith, you can be ‘spiritual’ without being religious or a member of an organized religion.

What Is The Difference Between Religion And Spirituality?

Religion- This is a specific set of organized beliefs and practice, usually shared by a community or group.

Spirituality-This is more of an individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose. It also relates the process of developing beliefs around the meaning of life and connection with others.

One way to understand the relationship between spirituality and religion is to imagine a game of football. The rules, referees, other players, and the field markings help guide you as you play the game in a similar way, that religion might guide to you to find your spirituality. Kicking a ball around a park, without having to play on the field or with all the rules and regulations, can also give you fulfillment and fun and still expresses the essence of the game, similar to spirituality in life.

You may identify as being any combination of religious and spiritual, but being religious doesn’t automatically make you spiritual, or vice versa.

”Why Do We Need Spirituality In Life”

Life can be full of ups and downs, good times and bad. Many people see spirituality as a great way to seek comfort and peace in their life. It can often be practiced alongside things like yoga which focus on stress relief and release of emotion.

Spirituality recognizes that the role in life has a greater value than what you do every day. It can relieve your dependence on materialistic things and help you understand your life’s greater purpose/

”Spirituality can also be used as a way of coping with change or uncertainty.”

  1. I believe that religion actually gets in the way of cultivating spirituality. Their rules and regulations are not for anyone’s good but the religious hierarchy. They are about control and power. I also believe that religions have contributed to the perpetration of countless deaths, torture, and family dysfunctionality down through the centuries. But if you find comfort in your chosen religion, you’re welcome to it.
