“Anybody who has ever struggled to plant his feet onto the floor in the morning knows that life can be hard; it can be stressful; it can be overwhelming. But each of those negative, less than optimal feelings immediately takes a back seat to the inspirational power of hope.”
It’s a good question why Hope? I’ve been thinking about hope lately, and the importance of it in a person’s life. Sometimes, most of the time, life can seem a bit disappointing. Even the greatest lives are full of profound loss and heartbreak. It seems that pain is inevitable and while we may say that we know good can come out of it, what hurts still hurts. Here one can easily lose hope in life, in God, and even in oneself. Despair is often cyclical, spiralling one into depression and helplessness, leading to even greater despair. The result is that one said thing leads to another and so on until we feel that we can’t possibly break free. It can all be a bit too much for our souls to handle.
“Never give up. Have hope. Expect only the best from life and take action to get it.”
As Born Being Human, We all need hope, we can’t live without it. It is the lifeblood to our spiritual survival and the only thing that pulls us out of the deep trenches of the pain and hurt if life.
There have been points throughout my life that I had no more energy to fight. My ability to care about walking with God seemed to not only vanish but vaporize, leaving no trace of its existence. I wanted to give up, throw in the towel and never look back through God, In his infinite kindness and love ” Laid Beside” me and ”gently whispered hope. ” His whispers of hope brought back to living areas that were dead. I was reminded that I am the one who is broken and in need of hope.
”Sometimes the world around us seems empty, and we may feel entirely alone, but now and then – Suddenly! – when we least expect it – when we’ve almost given up hope – when we’re tired or bored or fearful or disgruntled – God breaks through and the angels start to sing”
It was nothing but ”Grace of God” that would come to us when we’re looking our worst and gently whisper hope to us. Its such a beautiful concept, the kind of beauty that makes you want to cry just for the sake of how overwhelming it is. In our most dire moments, when our failures have outweighed when ur triumphs, when sadness has seemed to overcome any joy left in us, we all need hope, and on those time, I believe that God sends the least expected people and circumstances into our lives to reinvigorate our spirits and remind us how good life still is.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
